Introducing Danielle Courtier

From the age of four, Danielle's foundational Classical Ballet training was at the Bryan Lawrence School of Ballet. As a professional dancer, Danielle worked with Expressions – Queensland Dance Theatre Schools Touring team, One Extra and Darc Swan.

Danielle was one of the very first dance teachers in Ballarat to train in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and has retained her certification and license continually since 2018. She also has successfully achieved foundational training with Gold Moves Australia and is licensed to train the Rambert Grades Contemporary Dance and Senior Swans syllabi, both also firsts for Ballarat and region. 

Danielle maintains engagement in industry-based education, guiding her students with relevant, inclusive and safe training. She includes contextual lessons in anatomy and dance history to provide a holistic and nurturing learning experience.

In late 2025 Danielle and her studio were featured in Dance Australia magazine's Regional Spotlight feature; in 2026, her dance adventure continues as a mature ensemble artist for an exciting short-film production in Geelong.

Danielle is keen to share her enthusiasm for, and promote, many forms of dance and she is grateful to play a role in her students' dance journeys, no matter their stage of life.

Quite a number of Miss Danielle's former students are now exploring the exciting world of dance, guided by reputable training organisations and dance companies in Australia.
